The term “Ortho-Bionomy” is formed from root words meaning “correct laws of life.” Through a mixture of tools from osteopathy and the martial arts, it addresses comfort, alignment and awareness in the body. Ortho-Bionomy is a system of natural healing movement. It works with the communication between muscles, joints and the proprioceptive nervous system, the nerves that provide information about body position and movement. Ortho-Bionomy stimulates the self-correcting reflexes of the body.

The human body is extremely adaptive. In many cases this is beneficial, but not always. Our bodies compensate when we face illness, injury, stress or misuse.
